Food Labels: April 2020 HealthNewsletter:by Dr Jerry J. Masarira,(Naturopath D. CBIS)
I need you to get any container with a food label so that you check while reading, for you to be able to follow.
As we buy foods for our daily consumption, I am suggesting that you please read your food labels ALWAYS, before you buy your packed foods.
We are constantly consuming foods that are not fit for our health.
Foods industries hide bad ingredients and use technical terms to confuse customers.
If you look at almost all food labels, the order is usually standard like this from the top down:
1. Calories, 2. Total fat, 3. Cholesterol, 4. Sodium, 5. Total carbohydrates, 6. Sugars, 7. Proteins, and 8. Vitamins.
There are four sections you should focus on.
1. Where it says calories and calories from fat, you should find products with less than 10 percent fat. (E.g. when calories are 250 and calories from fat are 110, then (110/250 = .44,) which means there is 44 percent fat and you need less than 10 percent fat and the 44 is way too high and not good for you.
2. The next is Total Fat, Saturated fat. This is shown as a percent of daily calories. (on this section look for zeros only when numbers are there it is not good for you)
3. Sodium is used as a preservative and the lower the figure the better.
4. The last is dietary fiber. This is very important. The larger the number the best.
If you try to maintain a 10 % fat diet, anything more than one gram of fat per 100 calories is bad for you. Two grams per 100 calories is 20 % fat.
When they say fat free on any product, that does not mean there is no fat. It means there is less than 0.5 grams of fat.
When hiding this 0.5 number, they are legally correct but not your health correct. They are not required by law to show anything less than 0.5 that is why they say NO FAT even when it is there.
When they say low fat it means less than 3 grams of fat per serving (A serving is usually the size of your fist). If you take two or three servings, you fat will increase faster, so be careful.
As a rule of thumb, “If you cannot pronounce any word on the product it do not eat it”
Many manufacturers moved to fat free goods, but they added more sugar and refined carbohydrates to replace the fat. When you eat more sugar you are creating fat inside your body.
1. Whenever the label says fat free, the product has more sugar.
2. Whenever it says sugar free, the product has a dangerous sweetener called aspartame in it, which is very bad for your brain, beware!
3. When they say sugar free, it is true. (But what they mean is plant, cane-sugar free. Brown or white sugar we all know) but not SWEETENER FREE. (They know if they say sugar free you will assume, since there is NO SUGAR the sweetness is originally from nature and not added sweeteners. And yet they added aspartame which is 200% sweeter than cane sugar.)
How do you know the difference between Organic, Genetically engineered fruits, and Conventional grown fruits on a sticky label?
The sticky labels on fruits in the grocery store have numbers on them. The number is called PLU or Price Look Up. The label has the price noticed by the scanning machine but there are also numbers that tell you how the fruit was grown. (Look for them and read) eg PLU # 4067, PLU # 84067, PLU # 94067,
When you look at the label on the fruit label:-
a. The conventional grown produce has a 4 number PLU code. (Look for them)
b. The Genetically modified produce has a 5 number PLU code and it begins with an 8 always. (look for them)
c. The organically grown fruit has a 5 number PLU code beginning with a 9 always. (Look for them)
Here is an example:-
(A). 4011 is a conventional grown banana. Four numbers only. (Usually grown by farmers in large quantities with added chemicals for business)
(B.) 84011 is a Genetically Engineered banana. Starting with number 8 always. (These have altered genes in order for producers to control seeds, eg seedless grapes, seedless water melons, seedless oranges etc and Soy beans) Anything seedless is very bad for you health.
(C.) 94011 is an Organically grown banana. Starting with number 9 always.
(Grown by health awareness farmers without chemicals)
It is that simple. As long as you keep in mind that:
(1) 4 numbers are for conventionally grown.
(2) Starting with number 8, before the 4 numbers, is for GE produce.
(3) Starting with number 9, before the 4 numbers, is for Organically grown.
The four numbers might be different depending on the produce
It can be, 5647, 6532, 7894, 4231 for different produce eg, oranges, apples, cabbage, mangoes etc.
All you need to look at is the, four numbers, then an added first number 8 and an added number 9 and you are good.
Here is what you need to know also:
Do not confuse the label organic with the label Natural.
Natural only means no artificial ingredients were added in processing. This has nothing to do with how it was grown or raised. The purpose is to confuse you. (We are dealing with people who are not honest)
GE Corn/mealies has the following statistics as compared to Organic Corn/mealies:
(In America it’s the yellow corn/maize that is sold and exported every where)
It is nutritionally void and very bad for health.
The nutrition statistics for GE corn are bone chilling. Here is what the report indicates:
Manganese
1. Organic corn/mealies has 14 ppm (parts per million) of manganese.
2. Genetically Engineered corn/mealies has only 2 ppm.
That means, Real corn has 7 times more manganese!
Calcium
1. Organic corn has 6130 ppm (parts per million) of calcium.
2. GE is stripped down to 14 ppm.
That means, Real corn has 437 times more calcium!
Magnesium
1. Organic corn has 113 ppm of (parts per million) magnesium.
2. GE corn is vacant, with only 2 ppm.
That means, Real corn has 56 times more magnesium!
Now here is what I want you to know. GE corn contains alarming glyphosate levels.
The amount of formaldehyde (A highly toxic substance that is used in many things such as toothpaste, mouthwash and the air you are breathing. Its common use is to embalm bodies.) and glyphosate (A herbicide used to kill weeds, especially annual broadleaf weeds and grasses known to compete with commercial crops grown) in GE corn is unbelievable.
To break it down, American EPA (Environmental Protection Agency) standards allow glyphosate in water of up to .7ppm (Parts per million). European tests indicate that animals begin experiencing liver damage at .0001 ppm (parts per million) of glyphosate in water.
GE corn takes that statistic up yet another notch.
GE corn contains 13 ppm of glyphosate, or the equivalent of 130,000 times more toxicity than EPA water standards!
The formaldehyde level of GE corn is unspeakable.
The question is:-
Why is something this toxic fed to humans?
THE MORE WE EAT Genetically Engineered Foods THE LESS HUMAN WE BECOME. The foods that have their genes altered and their allergenicity are slowly destroying our body cells, by altering our DNA functionality, and our immune systems. Now we are slowly becoming zombies.
We will never be who we were last year and beyond. We are changed daily as we open our mouths for food.
When you gain weight, it is not that you are “living pretty” but you are “Dying pretty”
What about MICROWAVE:
A few years ago I was invited to attend a Nutritional health professionals’ conference in Canada for two weeks.
The Doctor who was the head of the program asked airport officials not to have our foods pass through the scanning machines at the USA and Canada air ports but to be hand inspected by airport officials. The airport officials complied and did a hand and visual inspection without scanning. (These were home grown and dry foods he had brought from the USA as snacks for the whole group). You can ask for that service if you have brought dry food (in your carryon bag) at the air port and do not want it scanned.
The reason is that food scanning and microwaving is one and the same thing. Microwave turns any food value in the food into toxins. Anything that comes out of the microwave is highly toxic and the food value is completely zero. If you do not believe it, please do the following experiment at your home:-
1. Buy two flower pots with live plants in them, same type and same size plants also from the same shop.
2. Microwave the water and let it get cold and water one plant daily for one week. (7 Days straight)
3. The other plant, water it also daily with tap water for one week. (7 days straight)
4. You will notice that the plant you were watering with micro-waved water will be dead in three to seven days.
3. The microwave kills the food and the pancreas has to produce a lot of digestive enzymes in order to digest all the dead food because there are no living enzymes in the food any longer and toxic to the body.
This normally causes diabetes because our body cannot digest what we eat. The body will eventually get rid of it by using body stored enzymes, because the body struggles to get rid of microwaved food.
Sometimes you get diarrhea, because the body is getting rid of body toxins. Diarrhea is not bad, it only means our bodies are removing toxins faster from our bodies because it is an emergency. It is healthy to have diarrhea because it is body cleansing through flashing out. But you need medical attention to control it if it continues.
Microwave machines have no place in our homes because they are a health hazard. Nothing that gets into the microwave comes out “Alive”.
It has been speculated heavily that it causes cancer because of radiated heat. (don’t forget that your cell-phone is also a very big suspect, nothing that is convenient these days is healthy safe, including pizza.)
Proverbs 18:21 “Death and life are in the power of the tongue and they that love it (life) shall eat the fruit thereof”
Stay healthy. Make good choices when it comes to food. Taste is a wrong advisor. Think!!!!. Before you eat.
